America's Physician Groups Webinar: Enhancing Dementia Care - Practical, Affordable Solutions

Americas Physician Groups Webinar

America's Physician Groups is holding a webinar April 17 on "Enhancing Dementia Care: Practical, Affordable Solutions."

All medical practices that care for older adults will need to provide dementia care given the significant and rapidly growing number of Americans affected by dementia. This session will introduce evidence-based models of dementia care, including proven management tools and caregiver support.

Especially relevant to value-based provider organizations, speakers will discuss how best to improve quality and minimize costs in dementia care. Speakers include:

  • David B. Reuben, MD (UCLA ADC Program)
  • Leslie Evertson, DNP (UCLA ADC Program)
  • David Bass, PhD (BPC)
  • Gary Epstein-Lubow, MD (NDCC)
  • Lynn Spragens, MBA (Spragens & Associates, LLC)

In addition, any APG members who are non-GUIDE provider organizations serving a significant number of MA and FFS Medicare older adults may be eligible for free readiness assessment, technical assistance, and program implementation guidance from the Education Development Center’s National Dementia Care Collaborative (NDCC) and UCLA faculty (ADC program) to adopt components of these evidence-based models.
