ASA Webinar Recording: MPA Future Proof Live - Centering Equity and Family Caregivers in State Multisector Plans for Aging
The American Society on Aging (ASA) held a webinar on November 7, "MPA Future Proof Live: Centering Equity and Family Caregivers in State Multisector Plans for Aging," which is available as a recording. A related Generations Now article was published on, "Why MPAs Are Critical to Equitably Meeting the Needs of Aging Communities."
The webinar speakers discussed the new Multisector Plan for Aging (MPA) measure in the AARP Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) State Scorecard and talked about how states can center equity in their MPAs, reflecting the voices, experiences and recommendations of all stakeholders.

ASA also recently published an article in Generations Now by Edem Hado, "Why MPAs Are Critical to Equitably Meeting the Needs of Aging Communities," as part of their series to foster MPAs across the country. The article series and Future Proof Live are supported by West Health, The SCAN Foundation and JAHF.
The new Multisector Plan for Aging website contains the latest state action on MPAs, including an interactive map showing state progress on MPAs and links to helpful resources such as articles, event recordings, and toolkits.
