ASCP Course: Leveraging Pharmacists as Age-Friendly 4Ms Champions
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is holding a virtual course on April 3, "Leveraging Pharmacists as Age-Friendly 4Ms Champions."
This learning course will offer a comprehensive framework for Senior Care Pharmacists to improve the care of older adults within the Age-Friendly Health Systems (AFHS) initiative.
By providing expertise on the use of medications, pharmacists can gain deeper insights into their opportunities to provide age-friendly care and effectively apply the AFHS 4Ms Framework in their work. Participants will better understand the complex interrelationships between disease states, nutrition, medications and other variables, helping them provide more patient-centered care to older adults.
The presenter is Dr. Nicole Brandt, Professor and Executive Director, Peter Lamy Center on Drug Therapy and Aging, University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
