The Diverse Elders Coalition (DEC) has published a blog, "I Attended a Focus Group with Vietnamese Caregivers. Here are Some of the Things I Learned."

As part of an ongoing project funded by The John A. Hartford Foundation, Addressing Unmet Family Caregiving Needs in Diverse Older Communities, the DEC's Ocean Le wrote about caregiving experiences he learned from a focus group he attended in Houston, TX. These focus groups are an integral element of this project that seeks to identify the unique challenges facing family caregivers in diverse communities.

Three particular issues are highlighted in the blog. "During the focus group, I learned more about their caregiving experiences, their challenges, and the changes they would like to see in the U.S. healthcare system," writes Le.
