Blog: Supporting Family Caregivers - Early Lessons from State Innovators
The Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc. (CHCS) has published a blog, "Supporting Family Caregivers: Early Lessons from State Innovators."
The blog talks about state strategies to address the needs of family caregivers and to identify ways to offer support, respite, and better care coordination. It reviews findings from a recent report by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health researchers, "In Support of Family Caregivers: A Snapshot of Five States," that features promising programs in Hawaii, Maine, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Washington.
In addition, the blog describes opportunities for other states that are considering new or improved family caregiving policies and programs.
