BOLD PHCOE-DC Webinar Series: Community Matters - Understanding Social Determinants of Health to Reduce Dementia Risk
The BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving (PHCOE-DC) is hosting a new webinar series, "Community Matters: Understanding Social Determinants of Health to Reduce Dementia Risk." The first webinar is on June 26 on, "Building Resilience: Understanding Economic Stability to Reduce Dementia Risk."
The webinar series will explore how public health professionals can leverage social determinants of health to mitigate dementia risk and improve brain health. Participants will:
- Hear from experts about the link between social determinants of health and dementia risk, providing actionable insights;
- Gain perspectives from State and Local Health Department leaders on integrating dementia risk reduction initiatives into comprehensive strategic plans; and
- Learn to advocate for dementia risk reduction initiatives within communities, healthcare and public health settings.
The webinars in the series include:
