C-TAC National (Virtual) Policy Forum Recordings: Emerging Policy Changes in the Age of COVID-19
The Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC) hosted a virtual National Policy Forum June 24 on, “Emerging Policy Changes in the Age of COVID-19.”
This was C-TAC's second annual free National Policy Forum; due to the continued spread of COVID-19, this year’s event was held virtually. The coronavirus has affected the entire healthcare system and those with serious illness are particularly vulnerable to complications as a result of COVID-19. The National Policy Forum focused on three key themes affecting the serious illness care movement in light of the COVID-19 pandemic:
- The Moment We Are In: Experts will take stock of the policy landscape for serious illness care during the ongoing spread of the Coronavirus.
- What’s It Going to Take?: Participants will share insider analysis on the policy interventions that will be needed to support those on the frontlines of care.
- The Near Future: As we look ahead, speakers will reflect on the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our healthcare system.
