The Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC) held a webinar on April 14, “Crafting Care Planning Tools to Meet the Unique Challenges of COVID-19.”
We are facing unprecedented challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, it is critical for people facing serious illness and those who matter most to them to discuss their care preferences and document their treatment wishes. C-TAC’s partner organizations, Respecting Choices® and National POLST, are developing and distributing resources that provide guidance for those engaging in proactive care planning conversations during this difficult time.
During the webinar, leaders from Respecting Choices® and National POLST discussed their respective toolkits and addressed questions shared by attendees on care planning during the spread of the coronavirus. Speakers were:
