Webinar Briefing: Release of the CAPC Clinical Training Recommendations
The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) is holding a webinar briefing on January 29, "Release of the CAPC Clinical Training Recommendations."
The CAPC Clinical Training Recommendations are new education standards that will provide a roadmap for clinicians and health care organizations to systematically enhance their ability to meet the needs of patients with serious illness, and their families. The new standards were developed by CAPC faculty and are adapted from the 4th edition of the National Consensus Project’s Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care. They are geared to clinicians and clinical leaders from all specialties and disciplines.
CAPC Director, Dr. Diane E. Meier, and CAPC Chief Strategy Officer, Brynn Bowman, will present the new recommendations at the virtual briefing and will answer questions.
