CAPC Publication: The Case for Community-Based Palliative Care
The Center for Palliative Care (CAPC) has released a new publication, "The Case for Community-Based Palliative Care."
The resource aims to help programs expand palliative care in all settings outside of hospitals—in medical offices and clinics, in post-acute and long-term care facilities, and in patient homes. The publication includes key data on the value of community-based palliative care, program profiles, and a case example to use with leadership.
