CAPC Webinar Recording: Serious Illness, Palliative Care, and the Impact of COVID-19

Capc brief

The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) held a webinar on March 31, “Serious Illness, Palliative Care, and the Impact of COVID-19.”

The briefing provided an update on what CAPC is seeing, hearing, and learning about the impact of COVID-19 on patients with serious illness. The patient population of older adults with serious illness is at the highest risk from COVID-19, and palliative care teams have unique expertise and insights critical for our health systems during this crisis. Health system leaders were strongly encouraged to attend.
