CE4TA Age-Inclusive Telehealth Innovative Practice Award: Call for Applications
The Center of Excellence for Telehealth and Aging (CE4TA) is accepting submissions for the first Age-Inclusive Telehealth Innovative Practices Award through May 26.
The award, to be given twice a year, recognizes healthcare groups, clinical practices, and organizations that have implemented innovative telehealth practices to improve
the care of older adults. The innovation award highlights programs that show excellence in incorporating the Principles & Guidelines for Telehealth & Aging, as put forth by the Collaborative for Telehealth and Aging. This includes being:
- equitable and accessible
- person-centered
- integrated and coordinated
Submissions should define a certain challenge in utilizing telehealth for the care of older adults and present a program or tool for addressing that challenge. Submissions will be evaluated on several factors, including how the principles and guidelines were incorporated into telehealth practices and what positive impacts the program has had on older adults.
The awardee will receive $5,000 and an emblem of the award with the CE4TA. The submission window closes on May 26 and the awardee will be announced on July 28.
The CE4TA Age-Inclusive Telehealth Innovative Practices Award was created in partnership with the West Health Institute, the University of Virginia Geriatrics, and the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center.
