Center for Medicare Advocacy Webinar Recording: Mental Health Care in Crisis - Gaps in Coverage and Access
The Center for Medicare Advocacy (CMA), in partnership with the Diverse Elders Coalition (DEC) and the Legal Action Center, held a webinar July 24 on, "Mental Health Care in Crisis: Gaps in Coverage and Access."
The webinar addressed mental health as it relates to minority and underserved populations, the gaps in coverage for mental health and substance use disorder in Medicare and other types of insurance. Speakers also detailed how Congress and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services could make care more accessible.
