Commit to Connect and engAGED (ACL): Recording of Annual National Summit to Increase Social Connections
Commit to Connect - an initiative launched by the U.S. Administration for Community Living - and engAGED, The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults, hosted its Annual National Summit to Increase Social Connections and the recordings are now available.
The summit brought together cross-sector local, state and national leaders to address social isolation and loneliness and explore how technology can be leveraged in advancing social connections for older adults and people with disabilities.
The sessions highlighted innovative programs and resources to 1) increase the capacity of aging and disability networks to promote social connections and 2) increase awareness and availability of programs, services and interventions increasing social connection. Conference topics included:
