Community Catalyst: Share Your Story - Call for Caregiver and Direct Care Worker Videos
Community Catalyst has put out a call to caregivers and direct care workers who do not qualify for health coverage asking them to send in a video saying what it would mean for them to have access to Medicaid or other health coverage.
Caregivers and direct care workers—home health aides, certified nursing assistants, and personal care aides—work to support people with disabilities and older adults participate and thrive in their communities.
However, in many cases, those caregivers and workers can’t go to the doctor themselves without worrying about medical debt. Community Catalyst is interested in hearing how not qualifying for health coverage affects your life.
