ASA Future Proof Live Webinar Recording: Multisector Plan for Aging
The American Society on Aging (ASA) Future Proof Live series held a webinar January 25 to discuss a Multisector Plan for Aging.
In season six of Future Proof Live, West Health, The SCAN Foundation and The John A. Hartford Foundation have come together to provide an in-depth look at how states can plan strategically to transform infrastructure and coordination of services to address the needs of a rapidly aging population.
Webinar panelists discussed what a Multisector Plan for Aging is, what it looks like at different stages, across different communities and with different priorities. Key tools were explored as well as concepts to create a movement toward change through an aging and disability lens that goes beyond traditional health and community services. Presenters included:
- John Cochran, Deputy Executive Director of the New York State Office for the Aging
- Anna Lea Cothron, Director of Systems Transformation for the Division of TennCare
- Michelle Gayette, Assistant Director, ND HHS
- Carrie Graham, PhD, Director of Long-term Services and Supports at the Center for Health Care Strategies
