GEDC Resource: Rural Hospital Geriatric Emergency Toolkit
The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) has released a Rural Hospital Geriatric Emergency Toolkit to help rural emergency departments improve care for older adults.
The toolkit includes resources curated for rural and remote EDs with a large selection of education resources and low-barrier interventions recommended by clinicians working in rural settings.
Sections include:
- Environment Enhancements for Rural EDs
- Screening Tools for Rural EDs
- The Geriatric Comfort Cart
- Rural Telehealth
