The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) held a webinar on August 14, "Caring for Rural Communities in the Geriatric ED." Listen to the recording here.
The webinar highlighted challenges that rural and critical access EDs have in providing care to older patients, as well as opportunities and successful interventions for improving geriatric care in rural EDs. Speakers discussed three innovative programs that improve geriatric ED care.
