GEMCast: Geriatric Emergency Medicine Podcast Series 2024
The podcast series, Geriatric Emergency Medicine's GEMCast, has released two new episodes on "Global Perspective on Geriatric EM Care" and on "Why Less is More: Strategies for Deprescribing in the ED."
GEMCast is a series of lectures on clinical topics to help physicians, trainees, nurses, and paramedics who take care of older adults, particularly in the acute care setting.
In a new episode, Dr. Christina Shenvi and Dr. Martin Casey discuss deprescribing in the emergency department.
Another new episode features three guests from different parts of the globe; Dr. Mohd Idzwan Zakaria, Dr. Rosa McNamara and Dr. Rasha Buhumaid. Join host Dr. Cristina Shenvi as this panel of GEM doctors dive into challenges, innovations and ideas in differences in geriatric emergency medicine around the world.
