George Washington University's Center for Aging, Health and Humanities: 2024 Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit
The George Washington University's Center for Aging, Health and Humanities is hosting the fourth annual Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit virtually during October. The Summit will be split into four 2-hour blocks over four days in total.
Summit topics will be grouped by four themes that cross-cut age-friendly initiatives:
October 8 (1-3pm ET) - Shaping Tomorrow: Unlocking the Potential of Longevity, Age-Friendly, and Multisector Planning
October 9 (1-3pm ET) - Inclusive by Design: Strategies for Age-Friendly and Dementia-Friendly Businesses
October 15 (1-3pm ET) - Unlocking Potential: Lifelong Learning for a Thriving Society
October 16 (10am-12pm ET) - Healthy Communities and Healthier Aging: Collaborative Solutions
This free, regional, collaborative event will be held in partnership with Age-Friendly Alexandria, Arlington, DC, Howard County, Hyattsville, Montgomery County, Orange County, and the Georgetown University Aging & Health Program.
