Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) held a webinar on March 27, "Conversations with GIA: COVID-19 and Older People: What Are the Essential Policy Roles for Philanthropy?"

The webinar discussed the critical policy issues that must be addressed if we are to help older people in greatest need and what the role of philanthropy is in addressing those needs. Speakers focused on the policy debates at the national, state, and local levels and provided concrete examples of ways in which funders can help in this critical time.
