GIA Webinar: Mapping for Age-inclusive Policy, Planning, and Funding
Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) is holding a Conversations with GIA webinar April 7, "Mapping for Age-inclusive Policy, Planning, and Funding."
Interactive maps enable users to visualize and understand the complex spatial relationships between older people and the environments they occupy. When used by policymakers, planners, and funders, these maps can help improve access to local programs, resources, and amenities and enhance quality of life. The GIA webinar will discuss mapping efforts in New York and New Jersey and how these tools can be used to catalyze transformational change as well as share concrete ways that funders can help to develop similar tools in other locales.
