Hartford Grantees Named to Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, Care, and Services by Secretary
Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell recently announced six new members to serve on the Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, Care, and Services. The Council was established in 2011 and convenes quarterly to continue development and progress on the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease by HHS, Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, and the National Science Foundation to address the disease. Hartford grantees, Laura Gitlin, MD, and Gary Epstein-Lubow were among the six members placed on the council.
