JAHF-Supported Research on Dementia Care is Published in JAMA
The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) recently published a research paper, funded by The John A. Hartford Foundation, that examined the relationship between continuity of care and health care utilization and spending among older adults with dementia. The article's authors include Julie P.W. Bynum, MD, MPH, a grantee of The John A. Hartford Foundation, and Halima Amjad, MD, MPH, the first-place winner of the Foundation's caregiving story contest (which can be found here).
This research was supported by a John A. Hartford Foundation grant to Dartmouth College. This grant has also funded the Darmouth Atlas report.
You can read the paper here along with the editorial by Eric B. Lawson, MD, MPH here.
