Join the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory Lived Experience Panel
The NIA IMPACT Collaboratory, in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association, is seeking nominations for their “Lived Experience Panel.”
The Lived Experience Panel is a diverse community of people living with dementia or caring for people living with dementia. Panel members will provide feedback to researchers and engage in discussions about methods and strategies for studying non-medication interventions to improve the quality of life of people living with dementia and their family members and caregivers.
A one-year commitment is requested. Participation will include:
- Training regarding the goals of the Lived Experience Panel,
- Four 90-minute meetings (one every 3 months),
- Review of pre-meeting materials, and
- Evaluation of each meeting soon after it has completed.
Meetings will take place over video and/or conference calls.
Nominations/applications are accepted year-round through the online nomination form. The next deadline is November 17, 2020.
