Leaders of Today and Tomorrow Gathering at GIA 2021 Annual Conference
Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) is holding a Leaders of Today and Tomorrow Gathering for undergraduate and graduate students of color who have an interest in aging and philanthropy. The virtual mentoring event is on October 13 and is part of GIA's 2021 Annual Conference.
This year's virtual conference will prioritize network building, including the strengthening of intergenerational bonds with the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow gathering, sponsored by The John A. Hartford Foundation. Both undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in a career in aging or philanthropy are invited to the mentoring event and to participate in the other sessions. The event will enable students to meet leaders in the field, network with each other, and learn about efforts to reframe the cultural narrative of aging. Hosts include:
