The application process for this year's Medical Students' Sustained Training and Research Experience in Aging and Mental Health (M-STREAM) program is now open. The slots currently available are to support medical students for a summer research experience at the University of California, San Diego. The current application deadline is February 1st, 2013. The M-STREAM program is a sustained research training opportunity designed to provide support to medical students throughout the course of their four years of medical school. The program offers a different opportunity for each year of medical school. Students in the program participate in research activities focusing on aging and mental health as this program is funded through the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
