Modern Healthcare has published an article, "Planning for Fiscal Strength in Changing Times," that recaps the joint webinar they held with Allscripts on June 23.
During the virtual event, participants learned what to expect from the Biden administration and the current environment of rapid-fire healthcare innovation, as well as optimal strategies to remain competitive and equipped to serve the country’s aging population.
The webinar was in two parts, Part 1 with Ipsita Smolinski, Capitol Street and Richard Mulry, Northwell Ventures, on Federal health policy, discussing the innovation landscape and the impact on healthcare finances, and Part 2 with Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, The John A Hartford Foundation, on the aging of our nation’s citizens and planning for success. During her presentation, Dr. Fulmer offered her assessment of how the complexity of care, so common in older adults, can best be addressed, and how we can create age-friendly health systems.
