Moving Forward Coalition Conversation Three Part Series: Part 1 - What We Did & Why It Worked

Moving Forward Coalition May25conversation

The Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition is holding a three-part Coalition Conversation series. The first in the series is an Initiative Spotlight on May 25, "What We Did & Why It Worked."

The Moving Forward Coalition is part of a broader community advocating for important changes in nursing home policy and best practices. To both amplify individuals’ work and learn from their journeys, the Coalition is hosting a three-part series of Coalition Conversations featuring some of these leaders. In the first session - What We Did and Why It Worked - speakers will share how they launched their policy initiatives, where they faced challenges along the way and what they learned in the process.

Speakers include:

  • Mary Nichols, Texas Caregivers for Compromise & The Essential Caregivers Movement
  • Peter Yearwood & Alex Eshelman, Open Doors
  • Dan Haimowitz, The Pennsylvania Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine
