The Moving Forward Nursing Home Coalition is holding a webinar on January 15, "What’s in the Moving Forward Guide to Addressing Resident Goals?"
The Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition created a guide for addressing nursing home patient goals, preferences and priorities. They collaborated with the Kansas State University (KSU) Center on Aging to test the guide and best practices for talking to residents about their goals, documenting them effectively, and ensuring that care is responsive to what they share.
Webinar speakers will discuss how the guide was put together, what it includes and what we can learn from the nursing home teams and residents they pilot it with. Presenters include Laci Cornelison and Addison Van Zutphen from the KSU Center on Aging.
