MSTAR Program Applications due Jan. 31
The program was developed to encourage medical students - particularly budding researchers - to consider a career in academic geriatrics. The Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) program provides medical students with an enriching experience in aging-related research and geriatrics, under the mentorship of top experts in the field. Students are provided stipends to conduct full-time research during the summer for a period of 8-12 weeks. Up to 130 scholarships will be awarded in 2013.
