Multisector Plan for Aging Website
West Health has created a new website, "Multisector Plan for Aging," in partnership with several organizations including JAHF. A Multisector Plan for Aging (MPA) is a blueprint for restructuring state and local policies and convening a wide range of cross-sector stakeholders to collaboratively address the needs of older-adult populations.
As the website notes, "MPAs are designed to create a coordinated system of high-quality care and support services that promote healthy aging, independent living, and social engagement, while also addressing issues related to healthcare, housing, transportation, and other social determinants of health."
The website currently contains high-level information about the MPA movement and a state map. In process is news about to be released on new states joining Cohort 2 of the MPA national learning collaborative, an updated map to include information about the stage at which each state is currently.
