The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) held a webinar to discuss the findings and recommendations from its new report, "The National Imperative to Improve Nursing Home Quality: Honoring Our Commitment to Residents, Families, and Staff."
NASEM's Committee on the Quality of Care in Nursing Homes discussed their new report which examines how our nation delivers, regulates, finances and measures quality of nursing home care, including the long-standing challenges brought to light by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the webinar, members of the NASEM committee provided an overview of key findings, conclusions, and recommendations, followed by a moderated question and answer period.
