NASEM Virtual Workshops on Integrating Serious Illness Care into Primary Care Delivery

Nasme work 2

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) is holding a two part virtual workshop on June 10 and June 17, "Integrating Serious Illness Care into Primary Care Delivery."

The Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness will organize and host the virtual public workshop. The workshop will provide a venue to examine the intersection between primary care and palliative care principles, practices, policies and payment mechanisms and focus on the central role of primary care in providing high-quality care for people with serious illness.

The John A. Hartford Foundation is one of the co-sponsors of the Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness.
