NASHP Webinar Recording: National Family Caregiving Strategy - A State Roadmap for Supporting Family Caregivers
The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) RAISE Act Family Caregiver Resource and Dissemination Center held a webinar on Oct 3, "National Family Caregiving Strategy: A State Roadmap for Supporting Family Caregivers."
The webinar discussed the opportunities in the National Family Caregiving Strategy (that was released by the RAISE Family Caregiving Advisory Council on September 21) and how it can provide a roadmap for states that are interested in developing and expanding supports for family caregivers. Speakers included a federal official, a state administrator and a philanthropic expert who gave an overview of the National Family Caregiving Strategy as well as highlighted how the state of Delaware is listening to family caregivers to better support their needs.
