NASHP Webinar Recording: State Strategies to Expand Access to Palliative Care

NASH Pwebinar Palliative web

The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) held a webinar on March 16, "State Strategies to Expand Access to Palliative Care."

The webinar discussed state public policies and recommendations, and featured state leaders from Arizona who spoke about the policies, payment, and innovations in their states to support palliative care. State policymakers are uniquely positioned to impact access, quality, and costs of care for high-need, high-cost populations. Palliative care has been shown to help individuals with serious illness better manage the symptoms and stressors of disease.

NASHP is leading the JAHF-supported NASHP Resource Hub: State Strategies to Address Palliative Care.
