NASHP Webinar Recording: State Strategies to Improve Nursing Home Care
The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) hosted a webinar on strategies to improve nursing home care featuring insights from state leaders. The recording and slides are now available.
NASHP’s Nursing Home Learning Collaborative brings together seven states that are working to improve care for nursing home residents.
During the webinar, state leaders from Kentucky, Maine and Pennsylvania discussed their states’ innovations in nursing home reform. Speakers shared insights on recruiting and retaining nursing home staff, centering reform around residents’ rights, staffing incentives in value-based payment, technical assistance to nursing homes, and nursing home ownership oversight.
