National Academy for State Health Policy Selects 13 States for Caregiving State Policy Learning Collaborative

NASHP collaborative

The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) has selected thirteen states to participate in its 18-month Caregiving State Policy Learning Collaborative.

The participating states will exchange effective strategies and explore opportunities to enhance policies aimed at improving support for family caregivers. The collaborative, part of the RAISE Act Family Caregiver Implementation and Technical Assistance Center, will focus on strengthening state-level family caregiving policies in alignment with the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers.

Key areas of focus will include improving training and awareness for family caregivers, increasing access to respite care, enhancing family caregiving assessment tools, and fostering stronger federal and state partnerships to support caregivers.

NASHP is supported by JAHF and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
