National Academy of Medicine Workshop: Societal Implications of Geroscience
The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) is hosting a hybrid workshop on December 5 on, "Societal Implications of Geroscience."
The marked increase in research and resources dedicated to geroscience has the potential to have a massive impact in the years and decades to come. This workshop, sponsored by AARP and JAHF, aims to examine the associated societal issues and considerations that warrant significant attention as geroscience advances.
Session topics will include bioethics, equity and access, cost, social norms, and consumer rights. Registration to attend virtually or in person at the AARP National Office in Washington D.C. is open until December 1.
