The National Dementia Care Collaborative (NDCC) is holding a webinar on May 13 on, "Special Populations and Dementia Care Navigation."

During the webinar, speakers will give insights into dementia care for two unique populations: frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), and explore the lived experience perspective, strategies for addressing symptoms associated with FTD, the nature of dementia co-occurring with IDD, and strategies to help people living with IDD and dementia.

The session is aimed at dementia care program staff, social workers, nurses, and care managers, primary care and specialty clinicians, community-based dementia care partners and GUIDE providers and navigators.

    • Seth Keller, MD, Neurologist and Fulbright Specialist, Co-President, National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices
