Network Development for Community-Based Providers and the Healthcare Sector

The John A. Hartford Foundation, Health Foundation of Western and Central New York, The Retirement Research Foundation, and The SCAN Foundation will be presenting a half-day session at the American Society on Aging's (ASA) Aging in America 2015 Collaborating Organization Program on "Network Development for Community-Based Providers and the Healthcare Sector." The Hartford Foundation's senior program officer, Dr. Nora O'brien-Suric will be one of five featured presenters.

Hartford Foundation, Health Foundation of Western and Central New York, The Retirement Research Foundation, and The SCAN Foundation will be presenting a half-day session at the American Society on Aging's (ASA) Aging in America 2015 Collaborating Organization Program on "Network Development for Community-Based Providers and the Healthcare Sector." The Hartford Foundation's senior program officer, Dr. Nora O'brien-Suric will be one of five featured presenters.

This half-day session will focus on highlighting opportunities, challenges and successes community-based organizations have experienced in developing new partnerships with the healthcare sector. Specifically, this session will focus on how community-based organizations can develop networks of providers to meet the needs of the healthcare sector. Participants will leave with tools for network mapping, conducting assessments of healthcare needs and building networks.
