Aging and Disability Business Institute Resource Guide: Health Care Quality Metrics and Measures
The Aging and Disability Business Institute at USAging has released a resource guide, "Health Care Quality Metrics and Measures."
The new resource guide provides Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), community-based organizations (CBOs) and CBO networks with updated guidance on health care quality and performance standards, which can help inform the contracting strategies they use with health plans. The publication provides AAAs, CBOs and networks with regulatory and industry drivers for quality standards as well as tools and resources for measuring those standards.
The resource guide describes challenges, including the need to address health disparities, as well as opportunities for AAAs, CBOs and networks.
