- UCSF and Institute for Healthcare Improvement: AI & Age-Friendly Health Systems Innovations Survey
Age-Friendly Health Systems AI and Innovation research teams are seeking examples of organizations using large language models, natural language processing or machine learning to advance the 4Ms. Programs, tools and prototypes at any stage are welcome. Responses are requested by September 25. - IMPACT Collaboratory: 2026 Demonstration Projects Program
The IMPACT Collaboratory will fund up to two projects of up to $800,000 in direct costs over two years to evaluate non-pharmacological interventions for people living with dementia and their care partners within health care systems. Letters of intent are due October 15. - Family Caregiver Alliance: 2026 Innovations in Alzheimer's Caregiving Awards
Three awards of $20,000 each will recognize innovative programs in Creative Expression, Increasing Access and Reducing Stigma and Public Policy and Advocacy. Applications are due October 19 at 8 p.m. PT. - IMPACT Collaboratory: 2027 Health Care Systems Scholars Program
The program will fund up to two awards of up to $120,000 in direct costs for a one-year mentored experience supporting mid-career investigators partnering with health care systems to advance dementia care. Letters of intent are due November 5. - National Institutes of Health: Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging
Supports early-stage clinician-scientists developing research and leadership skills in aging and geriatrics. New applications are due November 10. - National Institutes of Health: Grants for Early Medical/Surgical Specialists' Transition to Aging Research (GEMSSTAR)
Supports early-career clinician-scientists in medical and surgical specialties pursuing aging- or geriatrics-focused research. New applications are due November 10. - Community Health Accreditation Partner: Age-Friendly Care at Home Certification
The certification supports home health, hospice, home care and palliative care organizations in implementing the 4Ms Framework and demonstrating their commitment to age-friendly care for older adults. - The American Hospital Association and West Health: National Learning Collaborative on Aging Care
A six-month implementation collaborative helping hospitals and health systems use electronic health records to automate, standardize and scale evidence-based care practices for older adults. - USAging: National Caregiver Champion Collaborative
A national collaborative for Aging Network providers and partners who administer caregiver services and supports. Participants share successful strategies, discuss lessons learned and explore emerging research, programs and partnerships.
Call for Papers
- The Journal of Advanced Home Medicine: An open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and commentary on the delivery of acute and advanced medical care at home. Submissions for the journal are open.
