The National PACE Association hosted a webinar on November 13 titled, “Advancing Age-Friendly Health Systems in PACE: Engaging in Age-Friendly Care for Better Health Outcomes.” A recording of the webinar is available along with a related issue brief.

The informational webinar features insights from representatives of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and several PACE organizations. Topics include an overview of the Age-Friendly Health Systems (AFHS) movement, case examples from PACE organizations, and engagement opportunities.

The issue brief, "Age-Friendly Health Systems and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly: Providing Care for What Matters Most to Older Adults," further explores PACE organizations participating in the AFHS initiative, leveraging PACE staff to support training and understanding of 4Ms in the health system, supporting the growth of PACE organizations through referrals and increased awareness and how health systems can bring PACE to new communities.
