NASHP summit

The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) and The John A. Hartford Foundation are offering a day-long Palliative Care State Policymaker Summit in August and are requesting applications to participate. The deadline to apply is May 23, 2019.

The summit is designed for state officials who have an interest in or are currently working to develop palliative care policies and programs.

States will be offered tools and resources to advance their palliative care policy goals, followed by ongoing support and expertise. Applications will be evaluated based on a state’s demonstrated interest and capacity to advance palliative care, and teams of state officials from up to 10 states will be selected.
