PHCOE-DC Webinar: Caregiver Identification - Strategies for Advancing Person-Centered Dementia Care Across Settings

PHCOE DC Dec6

The BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving (PHCOE-DC) is holding a webinar on December 6, "Caregiver Identification: Strategies for Advancing Person-Centered Dementia Care Across Settings."

Family members and other unpaid individuals are actively involved in caring for people living with dementia. However, they remain largely hidden in formal healthcare teams. Recognizing and integrating caregivers as part of regular care is crucial for improving health outcomes and quality of life for people living with dementia. This expert panel will bring together healthcare and community practitioners to discuss promising practices, barriers, and opportunities for identifying, assessing and supporting family caregivers across clinical, community and public health settings.
