President Barack Obama issued a proclamation announcing that November 2016 is National Family Caregivers Month. It is time to give tribute to those who have taken on the role as a family caregiver to aid and support their loved ones. Family Caregivers Month is a unique time in directing our focus to the many challenges faced by family caregivers, which often go unnoticed.

At the same time, it is important to highlight the President's remarks that "this month and every month, let us lift up all those who work to tirelessly advance the health and wellness of those they love." National Caregiving Month is a reminder of the countless hours that family caregivers give everyday to provide for the health and well-being of family, friends, and others.
