Respecting Choices COVID-19 Resource Toolkit
Respecting Choices® has released a COVID-19 care planning resource toolkit for clinicians and healthcare providers.
Respecting Choices is addressing the challenges clinicians are facing during the spread of COVID-19 by offering open-source tools for providers caring for those at the highest risk for severe complications related to COVID-19.
People who are considered high-risk for coronavirus-related complications are feeling especially vulnerable, as are their loved ones. Building on two decades of research and experience, Respecting Choices has developed this toolkit, which includes guidance for conversations about treatment preferences before a medical crisis occurs.
Health systems who have not yet seen an influx of people with COVID-19 have a window of opportunity to assist with these proactive care planning conversations.
