Serious Illness Messaging Lab is holding a webinar November 6 on, "Why Referring Clinicians Hesitate to Consult Palliative Care and What We Should Do Differently."
This webinar will discuss new research that is being added to the Serious Illness Messaging Toolkit about what we should do differently when asking referring clinicians to consult palliative care. Marian Grant, DNP, and Anthony Back, MD, will explain the research on the perceptions of specialist clinicians - with a focus on actionable insights.
The toolkit is an online resource for public messaging about care for serious illnesses. Its purpose is to support the way organizations talk to the public with the aim of improving public understanding about care for serious illness. It was funded by Cambia Health Foundation and JAHF.
