Sigma Nursing Announces Mary Dolansky as 2023 Amy J. Berman Geriatric Nursing Leadership Awardee
The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) has announced its 2023 International Award Recipients and Honorary Members. Mary Dolansky, PhD, RN, FAAN, Associate Professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing has been named the recipient of the 2023 Amy J. Berman Geriatric Nursing Leadership Award.
Sigma’s International Awards for Nursing Excellence reflect the organization’s dedication to fostering high professional nursing standards, recognizing superior achievement, developing leadership, and encouraging creative work.
The Amy J. Berman Geriatric Nursing Leadership Award is bestowed upon an individual who has contributed to collaborative practice through involvement in interprofessional teams and defined commitment to gerontological nursing. This award is named in honor of JAHF Senior Program Officer, Amy Berman.
Dr. Dolansky is the lead Program Investigator on Case Western Reserve University's Age-Friendly Health Systems Ambulatory Care Continuum project, funded by JAHF.
The awards will be presented during Sigma’s 47th Biennial Convention, November 11-15.
